I have a 4990 and it's good enough for me now but flatbed holders are never perfect to use, even though I use holders from for my 120 with anti NR glass, they still lack the sharpness I think would be better coming from s dedicated film scanner, I've blown stuff up to 16x16" before and it looks fine, but a company on the net did the blowing up for me (and they do something to make it look better.dunno what exactly) But yes.coolscan 9000 is on my wishlist. You need to go up in scanner class to a Nikon 9000 or better for exhibition quality 1m x 1m from 6圆. Please give me your feedback about those 2 scanners. scan 135 color negative and slide films get a image quality good enough for an exhibition of large prints (60圆0cm up to 1mx1m) scan 120 color negative and slide films : 6圆 and 6x7
